When our class went to the museum we learned about making exhibits. First you start by collect many artifacts that you plan to use in your exhibit. The exhibit will have to have one big main idea so make sure it all has to do with one subject or idea. An artifact is an object that was important to a person or certain group of people in a certain time period. If you put together a bunch of exhibit you get an expedition which is a big exhibit but the actual exhibits are all based on the same time period, movement, event, etc.
I didn't like how there wasn't much to do there. The most part was us sitting down and listening to someone talking. Also they said all the same stuff they dida t the assembly.
But the thing that I liked was the one thing we did do which was make an exhibit. We got a box full of artifacts that we could use to put together an exhibit. Our group based ours on the Jewish religion. In our exhibit we had a Holy Bible, Prayer Book, Torah, and a Charity Cup. We had to put cards near each object and briefly explain what it was or represented. Also there were four groups that we were divided up into and our whole expedition as called the Jewish American Dream.
